Weddings at the Longmynd Hotel

Set in 15 acres of private landscaped grounds, against the backdrop of the beautiful Stretton Hills, the Longmynd Hotel offers an idyllic venue for your special day. The romantic folly garden provides a perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs, and the panoramic views from our bar and restaurant will add an extra sparkle of magic.

We hold a Civil Wedding Licence for couples who wish to have a civil ceremony at the hotel, or if you prefer to marry at a local church or registry office and just hold your reception here we can help take care of these arrangements too.. The hotel can accommodate up to 100 guests for a sit-down meal, and up to 125 for an after-wedding party. You can select from a range of wedding menus, or our chef can create a wedding breakfast of your own choosing. We use fresh, locally sourced food wherever possible and have a wide selection of wine, champagne and much more in our menu of drinks suggestions.

We are happy to arrange music and entertainment for you, from a disco to a jazz band, or even a harpist or pianist. And when the evening draws to a close you can retire to our complimentary honeymoon suite, or choose from any of our other 49 bedrooms. We offer a special accommodation package for any of your guests who wish to stay the night.

Our experienced wedding co-ordinator and team will take care of all the arrangements for you, from the moment you first make an enquiry to the time you set off on your honeymoon. Whether you decide to have your whole ceremony at the hotel or just your reception, you are in efficient and friendly hands, and can be assured that our aim is to make your day as special as possible. The emphasis is on friendship and relaxation, allowing you to enjoy every moment without having to worry about anything.
