Welcome to the Longmynd Hotel...

The Longmynd Hotel is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and enjoys stunning views over the old market town of Church Stretton.The hotel prides itself on offering guests a warm welcome and friendly, professional staff with good local knowledge who will be pleased to help you get the best out of your stay.

Guests should never be short of things to do in the area: Church Stretton has many small, independent shops to capture your interest, and the lovely towns of Bishops Castle, Much Wenlock, Ludlow and Shrewsbury are all within 30 minutes drive. Church Stretton is the first Walkers are Welcome town in the West Midlands and the Longmynd Hotel is perfectly situated for walkers of all abilities. Other activities available nearby include golf, mountain biking and gliding, and the hotel has its own outdoor heated swimming pool. The stunning scenery has provided inspiration for generations of photographers, artists and writers.

After a day enjoying the local area, you can relax with a drink in our bar, or browse the selection of cards, gifts and books in our own small shop. Our restaurant has panoramic views across the Stretton Valley and serves excellent food, sourced locally whenever possible. Our comfortable bedrooms all have television, central heating, and tea and coffee-making facilities. The hotel is a free Wi-Fi hotspot.

The hotel is available all year round for weddings and conferences. A dedicated co-ordinator will discuss your requirements and ensure your event runs smoothly.
